We are working on a series of videos to share the innovative working process of WATERSHED+. For this first video city managers and engineers of this City of Calgary Business Unit talk about the ground-level integration of professional contemporary artists in their day-to-day working process:

Charles & Tristan return from Calgary

Charles and Tristan returned to the studio this week after a successful trip to Calgary where they presented the research developed during the Watershed+ (formerly known as the Visual Language Project) design team workshop held last month at the Sans façon studio. The presentations received an overwhelming positive response, and further development work will continue into the new year.

Whilst there, design work continued with their collaborative partners on the Vanishing Pond for Laycock Park.

Glasgow and Edinburgh workshop

Last week was 4 days of workshop in the studio with our team for the "formerly known as the Visual Language" Project, 3 days in Glasgow and 1 day at the Geography department in Edinburgh (thanks to Eric for organising it). Quite an intense series of discussions and huge leaps forward.
It is so exciting and fascinating to follow the discussions between 3 artists, an architect, a geographer, a graphic designer and a project manager, all working in the same direction and building up the project together.

Central station

Over the last couple of months we took part in the first steps of the new experimental online community for creative people, central station.
"Central Station is a space where artists, film-makers and designers can talk about their process, showcase their work, share tools and tip, access resources."
Emlyn, who works with us on the Visual Language Project, is one of the brains behind the project.

Public art online has just launched its ongoing review of Laycock Park project and Visual Language project as part of their case studies.
